ABOUT LESLIE MICHELLE
Since the beginning, Leslie showed an unreal passion for sports, basketball especially. However, her body could not physically excel at any given sport so, she stuck to covering them.
Although she hates to admit it, her passion for journalism started in high school when she was tasked with the daily morning announcements. She would run around campus early every morning gathering the daily news from each department. Something about informing her peers and the questions throughout the day made her seriously think of a career in journalism.

Leslie eventually focused on a Communication's degree and graduated with high honors from USC. With the ever-growing tuition rate, Leslie had to work throughout her time at university garnering her some serious serving skills. She also completed an internship with Latino Heritage Los Angeles which further impacted her commitment to diversifying the sports world.

She was eventually led to the NBA while working with Playmakers Latinoamerica. Along the way, she experimented with writing feature stories, covering college football, and creating her own podcast. She now currently works with Clutch Points creating social media content that garners MILLIONS of views. Yes, millions. Her most popular YouTube short has 3.7 million views and counting. She also collaborates with TAB Deportes as a sideline reporter for the Lakers and Clippers. And her podcast? Well, Leslie and her co-host will continue to talk west coast NBA basketball until there are more women in sports.

Leslie is not afraid to experiment with various content styles and techniques. Tackling new projects and finding creative ways to tell sports stories have been her passion projects for the last year and she will continue to pursue what brings her happiness.

And yes, she does like other things besides sports. On the rare occasion that there are no games, you can find Leslie curled up in bed watching Korean dramas, reading the latest romance novel, trying out a new restaurant, testing out new makeup looks, or planning out outfits for fictious dates.
